Kathy 

Kathy has been one of the hygienists on our fantastic team for many years.  She looks forward to coming to work each day, and says it is because she knows she can provide exceptional care in an office that is technologically advanced and has a group of ladies that genuinely care about each other and the patients. With a career that spans over 30 years that began at St. Petersburg College, and through numerous hours of continuing education and research within her profession, she, with a kind and caring demeanor, will provide you with excellent dental care. She and her husband live in Marietta and have 2 brilliant kids in college.

Meleah

Meleah was a fantastic recent addition to our hygiene team when Audrey and her family moved to Australia. Meleah always makes your oral health, as well as your comfort, her top priorities. She received her dental hygiene degree from Georgia Perimeter College in Dunwoody, GA, graduating with honors. While in school, she was named a Thomas P. Hinman scholar, an award given to only the top performing students in the class. She continually strives to discover better ways to more effectively treat her patients and has a strong passion for learning. She is a Georgia native and resides in Marietta with her husband, Kyle.

Lisa 

As a chairside assistant for Dr. Cheek, Lisa is not only at her side but also at yours to help make each visit comfortable and hopefully even enjoyable. She has been in the dental field for 25 years and still loves it!   As the dental industry continues to evolve through new technology, she continues to increase her knowledge of general and cosmetic procedures by taking continuing education courses that help her stay abreast of these new advances.  She is a native of Marietta and attended Kennesaw State University.  Lisa and her husband have three precious girls.

Kathy  

Kathy is one of Dr. Cheek’s chairside assistants and will do everything she can to make your restorative appointment as pleasant as possible. Treating patients with a gentle hand and caring attitude are her passion and the reason she loves dentistry.  She attended Florida State University where she obtained her BA degree in Humanities. Her career in dentistry began in 1998 when she attended Dental Careers, Inc for dental assisting and where she received her x-ray certification. In 1999 she attended Gwinnett Technical College and received her expanded duties certification.   She was raised in Miami, FL, but now lives in Marietta with her two beautiful children.

Jennifer

Jennifer is our office manager and will likely be one of the first team members from the office you will meet, either in person or on the phone.  She is here to help you with your insurance claims and financial questions, and because of her eight years of experience in dentistry in both front office duties and as a dental assistant, she can answer almost any question you have about your treatment. Getting to know you personally and treating our patients like family is of utmost importance to Jennifer!  She is a small town girl, growing up in Ringgold, Georgia, just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee.  She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Social Work and received a Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee.  She worked in dental offices in Texas and Tennessee before finally coming back home to Georgia.

Kim  

Kim, our patient coordinator, will go out of her way to accommodate you in making your  appointments at our practice.  Kim raised 5 children in Charlotte, NC as a stay-at-home Mom until her oldest went to college in 1991.  At that time she began working part-time at a dental practice.  Within 4 years, the three doctors realized what a good thing they had found and promoted Kim to office manager. When she moved to Marietta in 2004, she felt like she was losing family when she left the patients at that practice.  When she joined our team, she said it was like coming home.  She enjoys helping you with your scheduling needs and getting to know all the wonderful families in our practice.
