Kathy has been one of the hygienists on our fantastic team for many years.  She looks forward to coming to work each day, and says it is because she knows she can provide exceptional care in an office that is technologically advanced and has a group of ladies that genuinely care about each other and the patients. With a career that spans over 30 years that began at St. Petersburg College, and through numerous hours of continuing education and research within her profession, she, with a kind and caring demeanor, will provide you with excellent dental care. She and her husband live in Marietta and have 2 brilliant kids who have recently completed their college educations and begun careers in the Atlanta area.

Meleah, another member of our hygiene team, always makes your oral health, as well as your comfort, her top priorities. She received her dental hygiene degree from Georgia Perimeter College in Dunwoody, GA, graduating with honors. While in school, she was named a Thomas P. Hinman scholar, an award given to only the top performing students in the class. She continually strives to discover better ways to treat more effectively her patients and has a strong passion for learning. She is a Georgia native and resides in Marietta with her husband, Kyle, and their little boy, Logan.

Allison is the newest member of our hygiene team and is a Georgia nativeborn and raised in the small town of Adairsville, Georgia. Allison’s interest in dentistry began at a young age, and after high school, she attended Savannah Technical College where she received her RDH degree and graduated at the top of her dental hygiene class. Allison was chosen by the dean of her school to receive the Thomas P. Hinman scholarship, an award given to only one or two of the top performing hygiene students in each graduating classUpon meeting Allison, we knew she would be a great addition to our team with her warm personality and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional comprehensive care to patients. She continues to grow and learn as a dental hygienist by staying up to date on all of the latest information and technology through continuing education. Her main goal is educating patients on the connection between oral health and overall health. She currently lives with her husband and two dogs in Alpharetta. Her passions include her family, animal rescue, hiking and travel.

Jordan was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Marietta, GA when she was 7 where she grew up as one of seven children in her family.  She graduated from Walton High School, attended Georgia Southern University, and received her certificate in Dental Assisting from The Dental Staff School in Marietta in 2014.  Jordan’s interest in dentistry began after observing one of her family members at work in a local dental office.  She instantly felt a connection to the patients and had a desire to be a part of a dental practice where she could feel the same excitement for her work every day.  Jordan is always smiling and has such a passion for helping our patients and growing in her knowledge of dental assisting as evidenced by the hours and hours of post-graduation continuing education courses she has taken in just under five years of assisting.

Lydia, one of our amazing dental assistants, grew up in East Cobb with her parents and two older sisters and graduated from Pope High School.  She received her college degree in Healthcare Management from Armstrong State University. Being a lover of knowledge Lydia is currently enrolled in an advanced dental assisting course at KSU. Although she is a newer member of our dental assisting team, Lydia knows our practice very well having been a patient of Dr. Cheek’s for over 15 years!  Lydia is passionate about cats and has three of her own – Milo, Roxanne, and Winnie. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her nieces, Ella and Evie, and stay fit, riding her Peloton bike.

Jennifer is our office manager and will likely be one of the first team members from the office you will meet, either in person or on the phone.  She is here to help you with your insurance claims and financial questions, and because of her fifteen years of experience in dentistry in both front office duties and as a dental assistant, she can answer almost any question you have about your treatment. Getting to know you personally and treating our patients like family is of utmost importance to Jennifer!  She is a small town girl, growing up in Ringgold, Georgia, just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee.  She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Social Work and received a Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee.  She worked in dental offices in Texas and Tennessee before finally coming back home to Georgia. She and her husband, Cliff, are parents of three sweet girls!

Kelly, our patient coordinator, strives to make your dental visit a pleasant and efficient one from the moment you arrive at the front desk until your departure from our office. Kelly maintains our schedule and helps ensure that our patients are appointed and cared for in a timely manner. She has been in the dental field for over ten years and enjoys working with our family of patients on a daily basis. Kelly moved to Georgia in 2012 from northern New York and resides in Kennesaw with her husband. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.
